Girl's Volleyball Camp
June 11-15 at CHS East Campus from 9:00-12:00 a.m. Only $50 and that inclues a free camp t-shirt. Space is limited so please go to www.centralvball.com for registration information. This camp is only for girls in grades 4-8.
Kindergarten Camp
Students entering Kindergarten this fall without a preschool experience are invited to the Central Unified Kindergarten Camp.

Liddell Track
The school is sending out a special congratulations to the Liddell Track team! Matthew Long placed 4th in the valley. Also, the 4 X 100 team of Matthew Long, Sean Haymond, Adam Snyder, and Joseph Clark took 4th place. Sarah Garrett is the Shot Put Valley Champion. Way to go Liddell lions! We are very proud of you.
Open House is on Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00.

will take place on Friday, June 1st at 8:45. If you are interested in performing, please fill out the form and return in by Friday, May 25th. Music must be pre-approved by a teacher. Come on Liddell Lions- show the whole school how talented you are!
Kindergarten Registration
at Liddell has begun for the 2012-2013 school year. Please see Shannon in the office for a kindergarten registration packet. Call for more information! We can't wait to have our upcoming Kindergartners here at Liddell. Once the packet is completed, your child will be signed up for an individualized assessment.
New Kindergarten Parent Orientation
Monday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m. This is an informational meeting for incoming kindergarten parents. Please join us for a fun evening and meet your child's teacher. Parents only, please.
Parent Input Forms
Central Unified Parent Input Forms are now available in the front office. If you are interested in giving any information about your child to the office in regards to their classroom placement for the next school year please fill one out and turn it in. All forms are due on or before May 18, 2012. All criteria will be carefully considered at the time of student placement decisions.
How Cool is This.....
The combined choirs of Saroyan, Liddell and McKinley will be performing the national anthem at a Fresno Grizzlies baseball game on May 26th. The game starts at 7:05! Students will sing around 6:55. Way to go choir!
Spring Choir Concert
The district spring elementary combined choir concert is scheduled for May 30th. Rehearsal for the concert is May 22nd from 12:30 to 3:45.
Good News Liddell Families!
The Liddell Parent Faculty Club has approved another year of Tumblebooks. Tumblebooks is an interactive electronic library. There are over 300 books online for students to discover. There are fiction, non-fiction, biographies, tumblequizzes, and vocabulary development games to go along with each story. Students can search for books based on the Accelerated Reader level also! Brain Pop and Brain Pop Jr.
Great news Liddell families! Brain Pop and Brain Pop Jr. are now available for school and home use 24 hours a day/ 7 days per week. Thanks to a mini-grant funded by the PFC, we can enjoy this outstanding educational resource. Please check the PFC tab for the username and the password.
